Indianapolis natives and entrepreneur duo Chris & McKenzy Bowers founders of Tivid Technologies Inc. created Tivid TV, an OTT streaming platform that offers independent filmmakers 100% earning royalties in 2019. Christopher Mike, a renowned film producer of 15 years, noticed a significant void of distributor options that wouldn’t take 50% or more of his earnings. Along with his wife McKenzy’s advanced analytical marketing skills, they decided to create a solution that would bridge the gap between filmmakers’ economic crisis and the community support of small production businesses. In 2021, Tivid TV Studios was created to support the streaming platform’s technological needs and has become an essential resource for filmmakers, content creators, and corporate businesses.
